The movie starts as a car has a hard time driving straight down the road in a residential area. We think some kid has stolen this car. Nah. It's the dad driving his son to school, and he's drunk. The teenage son must take over. So, adults give up all responsibility towards their children and mayhem can take place. The film shows one day in the life of several teenage students as they go in and out of classes. They live their student lives and we follow their steps through the corridors and doors, taking them as guides one by one, like avatars in a giant video game.

I have seen the Elephant Drama film about a year ago. At first it seemed to describe the life of a teenager rather well. At that time I was in high school and I was familiar with these problems. But as they saw it was boring and predictable, it lost interest in it. Simply could not get in their grip. But then I saw the film: Elephant "Klass" by Ilmar Raag. It was in a class of its own. It is less forced and more realistic. Perhaps the change comes with different perspectives, since I am from Eastern Europe. But that also means that things have not always smooth or forged them. You can only show how they really could be ... And we have. This Elephant Drama film should be shown in every school. Not to show what it is, but it could be. So I say it's time to learn from someone else ...

*** *** Spoilers Wow. This Elephant Drama film was so bad elephant. I encourage everyone not to see. Personally, I have a high tolerance for boredom, but some of you probably do not. If it is possible to die of boredom, this Elephant Drama film is the litmus test. ELEFANTE unconscious as an inert, plods along this thing that you want to pull your hair out. Nacre this thing is so pretentious that it is almost ridiculous. Ugh. I will not dwell on the details but I would like to make a few personal observations. Roger Ebert the first reviews are worthless. The fact that raved about the DivX film Elephant while falling GVS and stating the name of their warped views on the media verses Elephant Drama film is proof enough. It is simply too much of an insider and an academician of the majority of us. Find a prolific reviewer on IMDb that you read and agree with his comments as a better guide. Second point personnel, Gus Van Sant success has gone to his head. This Elephant Drama movie is not even a good day "in a secondary school. Or at least not any high school that I have been. GVS has directed several of my favs (Drugstore Cowboy, to die for, My Private Idaho, Good Will Hunting), so like an idiot I guess elephants at worst, is wrong. Geez Louise went wrong. Moral of the story: Never trust a director or DVD film Elephant critic. If you liked elephant I strongly suggest that Warhol's Dream (1963). I fear that GVS Elephant is as Heaven's Gate was Cimino. (Now imagine the distance ring of death Knell)
