| I guess it's time that Steve was playing the banjo on the Muppet Show. I liked some of the films of Steve ... "Roxanne," "be there", etc., but seems to have lost his touch on this. This Cheaper by the Dozen 2 Family movie is still very watchable account, but the "former" Steve is gone. Apparently, there were too many gags (ie dogs and crotch, hanging from the balcony) and not enough comedy real accustomed to Steve (as in the nose jokes Roxanne). Also, this film: Cheaper by the Dozen 2 has nothing to do with the 1950 "cheaper by the dozen" (original or its sequel "Beautiful on the process ")... More than 12 other children of course. It seems more like "The open-air" or "Meatballs." There was however some nice scenes: The two sons and parents spying on them to crush both at the theater, and almost giving birth in a canoe I found amusing. It would have been much more fun than it had in fact given birth, although in the canoe. Oddly enough my favorite actress, this was the girl (can not remember his name now) that was crushing the child. It was very nice and attractive. I hope that appears in more movies. Fortunately, I did not pay money to see this (thanks to the wonders of bittorrent), but certainly buy the DVD. It is a good family film, but not to my expectations for Steve Martin. Probably should not support the download, but the movie: Cheaper by the Dozen 2 is hard where I live, as it involves a long and costly trip ferry. Otherwise it would probably have seen in a theater. |
