| Let's clear something in the way this time: Igor is an animated film, but not primarily for children. Children do not understand most of the jokes as the theme for most of them are aimed at older audiences. There are, however, a visual comedy that will apply to younger viewers, but overall I think this Igor Comedy film directed adolescents and adults. People like Igor on the basis of what they expect from the film. If you expect it to be like Wall-E and other Pixar films, you will probably be disappointed. Igor has good sides and bad sides. The visuals are impressive, the setting is beautiful, with an unorthodox design. However, in some cases, as the king of malaria, it seemed like a copy of The Nightmare Before Christmas' mayor, and that was disappointing. The story is not so bad, but not the best. Lacked a little depth at times, but still fun and entertaining. Igor is a good general animation film. Not the best, definitely not the worst. It's definitely worth seeing for animation fans, people like Tim Burton's work (the design of the Igor Comedy is similar to his style), and anyone who wants to enjoy a light story with a happy ending. |
| Dreamworks' new animation is perhaps mainly for children, but I am sure will be nice for parents who accompany them. A DVD movie Igor experimental animation impersonation of a horror genre. Igor really wants to be an evil scientist, when he decides that he wants to create an evil monster. What creates can be a little different than what was originally expected. As a fan of the horror genre, I found a very funny parody of Frankenstein. And I quite enjoyed it! I do not recommend it to everyone yet, but if you happen to see him, I am sure you will enjoy it! The graphics are good, and the film: Igor is very emotional at times. But do not forget that it is for kids! |
| When the arrived in the country permanently stormclouds of malaria and destroyed its ability to feed itself, King Malbert came up with the enterprising, if somewhat revolutionary concept of a Science Fair for bad inventions, the winner of which will be used to blackmail the world. Therefore, malaria is a country of mad scientists, each of which is assisted by an Igor. Igor is the main character in this story he himself aspires to be a mad scientist, and has already created quite a stupid robot brain and a suicide, but unkillable rabbit. His next creation of a Frankensteinian women: however, instead of being evil, it is simply Eva. Instead of causing chaos, she wants to be a star of musical theater. Factor in the machinations of one of the scientists who want to overthrow the evil king, and the main ingredients of the story. Igor The main problem is that much of it is adult in tone, mood and design of production, especially, but remains essentially a Igor film for children. Accordingly, it is between two stools, is too dense and over their heads for children, not enough to satisfy their parents. The 7 years of age, I fidgeted around, and fell asleep like the climax started. That said, there is much to praise. The voice cast (John Cusack, Steve Buscemi, Eddie Izzard, Jennifer Coolidge) is excellent, and the DVD movie Igor has a unique and surprising aspect to it - like the kind of Nightmare Before Christmas with the volume up to 11. If you have your mind what I wanted to be, could have been a very good film. As it is, is merely good. |
| I took my daughters (7 and 3) to see this DivX Movie Igor today, knowing absolutely nothing to do about 5 seconds of a TV commercial. I'm usually fairly selective about what to see my children, but decided to join a friend who was going anyway. More to my daughter loves Tim Burton and this was at least stylistically similar. I thought this Igor Comedy was a fresh sense of twisted humor, and much more original than the usual rehash hotter normally get from a lower budget CGI movie. And guess what, not a single fart joke! That means that only meets my low expectations of what passed as entertainment for children these days. Unofortunately, I think it is a bit out of outdated for the majority, so the small marketing budget, too. Nice to have a bit on the classic story of Shelley's Frankenstein. Not sure why the accusations of The Nightmare Before Christmas rip-off, Frankenstein was obviously the source material for this story. That is very good in my opinion. My daughters and I liked it a lot. |
