| All the time I was watching the science, I smell gob by the actions of all the cast, but particularly Anna Kendrick and Nicholas D'Agosto. Unlike their performances were anything I've seen in years! I think it is difficult to portray a character that hatred and love Anna has done enough in this film, and so far .. I am still thinking ..? but above all, love;) Seriously, for the last 2 decades or more, Hollywood has lacked the capacity to produce anything that even resembles "originality" and usually just chews and spits out a recombination of 3 or 4 stories have been told over and over again .. ... and for that reason alone, it will not likely be one or two people who do not even appreciate this Rocket Science Comedy movie because it is not that run of the mill of shit that are also used. But honestly, who meet the cast of this DivX film Rocket Science deserves a big pat on the back. I can not think of another name that might fit the profile of these characters so well! I wonder how the hell was the "R" rating, however? Come on, their language and content of sexuality was on par with 'Lost in Translation ".. What? If you are 25 or 12, watch this DVD film Rocket Science alone, without distractions, and no one to influence their reactions and will love this film: Rocket Science is very smart. I recommend it highly! |
| I saw this Rocket Science Comedy earlier this year at a preview screening. Cool is that I had no idea what it is, I did not even look up a plot outline. I was very pleasantly surprised. It was a very good movie, definitely worth seeing. The soundtrack is very appropriate to the theme of the DVD film Rocket Science too. It turns out that since some of the comments I read here, some people do not like this movie. I can not find a reason. I noticed that the young people, this Rocket Science Comedy film seems to be as popular as others. This DVD movie Rocket Science is very linear in terms of how things really are. You can refer to several main characters and their struggles in life. If you're expecting a slapstick, unrealistic comedy with tons of shock value, go and see the Wedding Crashers (which I love by the way). If you want to see a DivX film Rocket Science with intelligent dialogue with a good message and a great performance, go see Rocket Science. My rating 10. |
| Another entry in the "coming of age" category, I was pleasantly surprised to find - if not original - a deeply felt, honest representation of the trials of adolescence. Were the strongest aspects of the proceedings of the entire cast with Anna Kendrick and Vincent Piazza is out. Of course, the good work of Reese Thompson will be rewarded by the praise it deserves (and hopefully awarded). But this deeply personal Rocket Science Comedy has many fine moments, both hysterically funny and painfully revealing. Because he refuses to be predictable - even in the final moments - I think it is going to be above other films of this genre. Chosen to keep a score to become dated. Never glib to a range of "bending" the characters, and decides to leave the comments of intelligent characters and not the film: Rocket Science itself. Despite the issue of repressed anger and expressed their anger, there is a sweetness that avoids sentimental. Jeffery Blitz clearly needed to tell this story. And I hope that many more for us in the future. |
| This has to be the best dialog in any movie: Rocket Science ever made with a stutterer as a central character. I found the letter perfect performances, not a false note anywhere. This is a Rocket Science Comedy where the bit parts are played by actors cast, not enough producers boyfriends or girlfriends. I loved the girl in the washroom with a nosebleed, for example. Perfect. Rushmore not come to mind while watching the film, nor any of the other "quirky" films called here by other reviewers. But I think it is as a companion piece to "Welcome to the Dollhouse." Both in New Jersey, and the two central characters in the bottom of their social rank school and cope with their realities better than one might think. I especially liked the relationship between adults and children in this film. Adults (parents and teachers) will know about children, and children are very wise about the adults. The tone was quite good. I am surprised that this Rocket Science Comedy film caused so many negative comments here. I enjoyed reading the rant by the guy who spells cello "Chello. I think more or less explains. Literacy is necessary to appreciate this movie. |
| How can anyone be bored with this is beyond me. Perhaps the movie: Rocket Science hits too close to home. View, if for no other reason for the superb performance of Reece Thompson and Anna Kendrick. Both are amazing in their key roles, and this is a high profile in Hollywood, no doubt be considered come Oscar time, and should be! High school can be a painful moment, so expect some version of Disney perfect, happy children, who seem to all models of adolescents, is frankly unrealistic. This film, on the other hand, rang true in almost every scene, which is no easy task. And I must add that they have become a big fan of Margo Martindale, you can do almost anything to your order. (See the segment touching on various segments of the movie: Rocket Science "Paris, je t'aime" and his work on "rich" to get an idea of how this is a great actress.) Anyway, if you want to see a film: Rocket Science reflects the school in all its good and bad, ugly splendor, this is a Rocket Science Comedy you should not miss. |
