| A and C made during the golden age, this was not only the first and best of "meet" the series, but certainly his best film. Everything worked, the routines, the premise, the series, cold and management. Bud and Lou are a couple of rail shippers Bumbling to the final delivery boxes containing Dracula, Frankenstein and Wolf Man, to a Gothic building. | Abbott and Costello, when they were good, there was no one to play. Here was perhaps at its best, working with a great script and a better miles. I prefer "The time of his life as a film, but this is his best hour as comedians. As someone who grew up watching A & C on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at the New York area when they were Cheech and Chong comedy team of the moment, it is great to come back and see how everything is closed. Abbott and Costello did not make a Bud Abbott Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein Comedy movie about a year later by Karloff with what works. The title of the Bud Abbott Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein Comedy is a little misleading, too. "Abbott and Costello meet the Wolf Man" or "Abbott and Costello meet Dracula" would be more accurate. Of the three monsters of the DivX film Bud Abbott Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein Frankenstein has less air time, and maybe I'm splitting hairs, but the monster never meets Abbott and Costello Costello persecution just around the castle a couple of times. |
