'Employee of the Month' is about a guy (Matt Dillon) whose day spirals from bad to worse when he gets fired from his dream job at the bank and is dumped by his fiancee Sara (Applegate). David's best friend Jack (Zahn) tries to convince him it's for the best, but the opposite occurs when bank robberies and millions of dollars become part of his day from hell.

If my son did not review this Employee of the Month film to your high school newspaper, I definitely would not have seen. As I have, here goes: Boy meets young Costco, boy loses girl, boy rescues free, boy wins back. In some children are less laughs and sight gags, a promising trouserpress in Dane Cook (and not look bad), and Jessica Simpson say, fortunately, very little. Dane Cook is a person and hopefully this will serve as a jumping board to bigger and better things. And Dax Shepard was, believe it or not, fairly decent Vince Villain. Cook is a former competitive market that has become a professional bum at the local Costco / Super Store and lives with his grandmother. In their place of employment is an idiot who called Vince is blank (no pun intended) to win its 18 employees of the month award. Jessica Simpson and two walks in competing for entry into their pants, um, I mean competing for their affection. And both try to win this for the next month the employees of the award. Not even a good date movie. (If this is your goal, save some money and rent "Meet Joe Black").

All hell breaks loose in the Super Club store when a new employee is rumored ambitious men and women who become employees of the month, leading to two colleagues who compete to win their attention. The idea was good, but sometimes it comes off the middle and not sufficiently well developed in the script and the performance was not exactly first class, or even sometimes very funny. Do not get confused, this is not a horrible film, and has its moments, but it is not good nor fair. Seeing its value once, but not an amazing DivX film Employee of the Month is decent entertainment value and is watchable say. IMDb Rating: 5.3. My Rating: 7 / 10
