| There was a certain element of this Entrapment film that I felt pretty stupid. This is why the couple Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones as a 'young'. I think they have worked much better if they had only been partners in crime in all history can still be worked without being romantically involved. There are some great scenes in this film, with Zeta Jones showing her flexibility in the physical sense of the function. There is also a great picture, especially in the castle sequence. Its very bright and high-tech, but some of the dialogue is a little rough around the edges - some parts do not need more energy and feeling. Not exactly a bad movie, but it is not good. I think it could have been much better with a tighter script. The places are very nice though. |
| I am saying this once and for all: The Millennium of the night was between 31 December 2000 and January 1, 2001. Not a year earlier, as the DivX Movie Entrapment implies. The same mistake was made at the end of days, but that is understandable, because you can not expect too much intelligence to those who make such a crappy Schwarzenegger movie. But I expected more from these people. Okay, now on the DivX film Entrapment was good. Very good, actually. A good story on a police station to join a world class thief and planning (and then realize) some major thefts. The Entrapment Crime is tense, full of good scenes and clever ideas. The end is surprising - I never saw it coming. But I totally disagree with the final scene disappearings - gave the DivX Movie Entrapment a sense of madness. However, there is an 8 out of 10, which turns into 6 of 10 because of the misunderstanding of the Millennium. |
| This was an excellent movie. Action packed, full of interesting plot twists and great action. Sean Connery once again showed his skill and work is not slowing at all. Catherine Zeta-Jones-Douglas is shown that for nothing. The realization of many of his own stunts has helped solidify his place in the genre of action and hope to see many more. If you are looking for a fun DVD movie Entrapment to see, such a selection. |
| It struck me this picture, I must admit it was a lot of fun, action scenes are very good and Zeta Jones is impressive. There are problems with the movie, but you seem to forget some of them, because the director makes the large screen with very attractive, with very little time to reflect. The script is a big problem, the Entrapment Crime movie begins with a bang, but forgets to give a proper introduction to the characters, I found unwind too fast. The relationship between Connery and Zeta-Jones is badly written, simply does not work on some levels. The script does not really have a clear structure in 3 acts, the development of the characters was a bit off! The director does a good job with the film. The photography is excellent, the place of work is impressive. The performance is good, Zeta-Jones shows some talent. Connery is the same, but always worth seeing. Ving Rhames does not give much to do, a great actor, but always in a supporting role! The Entrapment Crime movie lacks a strong villain, this is very weak. If you are too serious, I hate this movie, relax and enjoy the ride! |
| I'm not sure whether the lines are given, or how they made them (a bit of both, most likely), but Catherine Zeta-Jones is a shame as the sugar-coated Gin Baker, who seems to be doing nothing more than a bad impression of Audrey Hepburn. Sean Connery is not fair much better with his "solo offender with a heart of gold" character. The two of them together are laughable as "romantic" leads. Their chemistry is abysmal, and Sean Connery comes out more like an abusive father, rather than a sensual lover. Although most of the DVD movie Entrapment is this idiot to forget, there are some very entertaining action sequences. Unfortunately, they are diluted throughout the two hours and forced to do things in half to reach them. This image is not the plot intriguing enough to justify its length, over two hours. |
| I admit that I have a weakness for this caper movies and has all the requirements for holding the interest. Big stars, Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones, and a budget with plenty of locations. The plot follows the usual pattern, the trains of the old and then get the beginner, who is double crossing twists.The robbery scenes are tense and exciting, but I must admit I miss some of the technical details. The stars can carry out this kind of thing, but credibility is a little strained because of the age difference. The truth is that Connery began to look and sound of his age. You can imagine what goes through his knowledge, but to actually go into work with all the sports strains logic (even James Bond has to get old). Catherine Zeta-Jones is a feast for the eyes and some of her contortions during the training sequences are very charming. She does what it has to do in the acting department, and my ears to his American accent is quite convincing. As so often these days the Entrapment film is very hard to give us a "surprise" to end the final scenes have too much explaining to do and tend to drag a little. |
