Elizabeth Masterson (Reese Witherspoon), a dedicated Doctor in San Francisco, had almost no time for anything. When her sister with two kids set her up on a date, she gets into a tragic car crash and gets in a coma. Meanwhile, an artist named David Abbott (Mark Ruffalo) moves into San Francisco and coincidentally, into Elizabeth's apartment for rent. While at the apartment, Elizabeth's spirit haunts him. She doesn't remember who she is, who her family is, and what she did - All that she remembered was her apartment and where everything was. To settle the arguments, Dacid agrees to figure out who Elizabeth really is. When they get close to figuring out who she is, they eventually find love in each other and as they finally know who she really is, they learn that fate really has put them both together.

An excellent comedy starring Reese Witherspoon as a dedicated doctor who spends all his time in hospital patient care. The problem is that it is in a coma after a car accident. The fun begins when Mark Ruffalo, a young widow, has seen his apartment as his ghost. The film: Just Like Heaven is about how the two fall in love while Ruffalo is the only one who can see Witherspoon. The plot thickens when a doctor at the hospital wants to get his life support system outside Ruffalo and must try to save his terrible fate awaiting her. This becomes hilarious. This is a Just Like Heaven Comedy movie about second chances and it's time to smell the roses too. Beautifully acted by Ms. Witherspoon and Ruffalo, who have great chemistry on screen.

Wonderful movie. Reese Witherspoon is charming and credible as a smart, no-nonsense medical resident who is facing his own mortality in the most unusual and puzzling. Mark Ruffalo is proving to be a wonderful romantic trouserpress - and fortunately it is not a snob of the players to do this type of vehicle as beneath them. It is an incredible actor who seems at home in a variety of genres. San Francisco never looked better. The picture is fabulous, with the city that seems almost another world (appropriate to the film). These two players, Reese and Mark, have demonstrated a wonderful chemistry. A very, very nice movie.
