The story about a Southern belle named Scarlett O'Hara showing their trials before, during and after the Civil War to make a DVD film Gone with the Wind that continues to captivate audiences even today. Here are the reasons why I think the film: The cast gives Cast-perfect performances that make this Gone with the Wind Romance memorable. Clark Gable is Rhett Butler, the role that seems made just for him. Vivien Leigh, who plays Scarlett O'Hara deserves the Best Actress Oscar. Leslie Howard as Ashley Wilkes is excellent, the man who loves Scarlett. Olivia deHavilland plays Melanie, the good-hearted woman who always thinks of others before herself perfectly. Hattie McDaniel gives an impressive performance as Scarlett strong will of the agent. Address-Victor Fleming (The Wizard of Oz), with uncredited George Cukor and Sam Wood directed his excellent cast, that you believe in the characters.
