| If you like poker - and ever more people seem to be playing or watching on television - you may want to see this movie. Although a fictional story, you get a good view of the game, how and why. My only caveat is that it is not a family film, it is safe. There are tons of profanity, which begins with many uses f-word. If you can cope with that, you can deal with the Rounders Drama movie (yes, puns intended). Personally, I would have liked to have seen this story reduce the sleaze factor. I love poker, I like the actors Matt Damon, Edward Norton, Gretchen Mol, Famke Janssen, John Turturro, John Malkovich and Martin Landau. With the object and the fabulous cast, this should have been much better, but he found a little too much on the seedy side. But for players of this card is a DivX film Rounders not to miss. |
| This is probably the best Rounders Drama I've ever seen. I know what most people will say - another review by the board of another geek. If so, most people would be a mistake. I've seen this Rounders Drama film about 30 times (more than with love every day). Until the 27th time they had no idea how to play Texas Hold'em (NO!) Or any other game mentioned in the film. The reason I think is the greatest Rounders film of all time are: great cast (everyone seems to agree with that), good story and high morale of the film: Rounders (which you do with your life). Of course, this image has some faults, but that does not show me a movie! I believe it will be very difficult to find someone who does not like playing cards and the DVD film Rounders as much as I do. | Rounders is a fantastic film. I think the only reason why people criticize this Rounders film is because they do not know anything about poker. Well, that's just bad luck that they can not enjoy this brilliant movie. The characters are great, especially worm, and all the players did a good job. There are so many excellent contributions in the film, most of them narrated by Matt Damon character, and I love the philosophy that some of these quotes are and how they relate to life. It is a film: Rounders about the tactics, decisions, and risks. Great stuff. You can see this film: Rounders again and again and never get tired of it, and if you're a poker player, that really gives great advice. I ask for a sequal. |
| Rounders is a reformed gambler who must return to playing big poker game to help a friend pay exorbitant. This is a very entertaining Rounders movie that is almost comparable to Ocean's Eleven. The cast was amazing. Edward Norton, Martin Landau, John Malkovich, and especially the main lead, Matt Damon no roles very well and without their great performances, the Rounders Drama movie would be disappointing. The direction of John Dahl and script written by former writers, Brian Koppelman and David Levien, were also very well done. The dialogue and the story was written by Matt Damon and made the Rounders Drama film even better. In general, this is a very entertaining and poignant film. I highly recommend it. | This Rounders Drama proves that Hollywood still does not have half a brain left, a great script, good character and leadership that this constant filling very pleasant. | If you like poker, Matt Damon, Edward Norton and John Malkovich, then there is a very good chance you will like this movie. For poker fans there are some great scenes that you just love, whatever their level of play. Even if you're not even in the poker scenes are tense and exciting, and not take over the entire film. | I knew "Rounders" had something to do with gambling, which stars Matt Damon, but no more. Therefore, when I saw on DVD pleasantly surprised me how to make a DVD movie Rounders that is. Basic history - Damon the 2nd year is a law student in New York City, and a good poker player who has aspirations to enter and win the one million dollar prize in the World Series of Poker in Lasvegas. However, Ed Norton plays his good friend just released from prison. Norton is also the nature of a poker player, but also incorporates the deception, and that only helps you make money faster. This approach is in some pretty hot water, and also deep in debt! Damon has the character of a played by Gretchen Mol OS. Their distaste for the game puts a great strain on their relationship. He stay or move? And finally, John Malkovich does a wonderful job as the Russian player nicknamed "KGB." John Turturro is perfectly as a friend of Damon and the "street" adviser. I just found myself trapped in this story, anticipating the next poker game, he wondered if all Whacked achieve, or survive.
