I'm seeing at least 12 hours of the night John Wayne. Am I mad? Probably. Fight? This North to Alaska Comedy has no STINKIN struggle, has everything to mud fight! There was a time when El Duque have liked pop stars around him. It s one of the three in a row. It was Fabian, who sang "If you knew." This is a very funny North to Alaska film and a real bed. John Wayne is very much in his element in this film, but the history issue and causes some to dismiss it. Give him a fair chance and see who is really a good film.
John Wayne plays Sam McCord, which is associated with George Pratt, played by Stewart Granger, striking it rich with a gold mine around the turn of the century in Alaska. Fabian plays George's younger brother, Billy. Sam George sent back to Seattle to bring back his girlfriend, but Sam brings a chorus girl played by Capucine. Henry Hathaway directs this comedy swinging fist. Of course, Wayne is responsible for the fist fight and Fabian is the butt of the source of most of the comedy. Comedian Ernie Kovacs plays a snide bridge claim. Fun for a quick picture. A fun part of the 'Duke' Wayne.
This is a great movie. Fun and entertaining. Each of the characters could fill a North to Alaska Comedy movie by themselves. Ernie Kovaks steals the show as the last trick and chisel. John Wayne knows he's doing a parody of himself, plays the handle and pull out brilliant. Capucine is a classy lady. While working in a brothel, that somehow we know that it is a good girl. Even Clancy shaggy dog has a large role. Johnny Horton's title success, north of Alaska, is the best song ever. Classic cowboy DVD movie North to Alaska fight scenes at the beginning and end. A total scream.
This DVD film North to Alaska is too funny! And too much heart! I can not see this North to Alaska Comedy film again and again and still laugh! And it's not slapstick! Only the good ole healthy American comedy! My favorite! Three men (well, two men and a teenager) and a French! What a combination! John Wayne is his usual macho self. That is always fun. And Stewart Granger is soooo good here! I've seen many things, but I think it was the same here! He is very funny! Fabian and poor. Break my heart with his love-sick adoration of Michelle! If you have not seen this, you should hire. He was glad he did. And the end result will be seen again. It is this type of movie.
