| I saw this in 10 / 2 in-NYFF have tickets last minute to go. Neil Jordan was present at Q & A-absolute treat. The Breakfast on Pluto movie was just amazing from start to finish - lovely, emotionally satisfying, delicately nuanced and very powerful. The acting is sublime, as in all movies of Jordan. Cillian Murphy is as impossible and yet so beautiful brave and skilful player who uses his physical advantage supreme. The Irish band three Gleeson, Neeson and Rea, who often appear in the films of Jordan, and touch were excellent as usual. There were wonderful touches casting - Bryan Ferry, and think, as a gay Gaivn Friday rockabilly, etc. The DivX film Breakfast on Pluto was bold, powerful swerving wide between dark comedy and tragedy. The arrest of the most striking were the customer and the choice of the'60s and'70s songs, something Jordan discussed in detail during the Q & A. I urge all Cineastes to catch this is surprised and deeply satisfied. |
