Michael J. 'Crocodile' Dundee is an Australian crocodile hunter who lives in the Australian outback and runs a safari business with his trusted friend and mentor Walter Reilly. After surviving a crocodile attack, a New York journalist named Sue arrives to interview Mick about how he survived and learns more about the crocodile hunter. After saving Sue from a crocodile, Sue invites Mick to visit New York City, since Mick has never been to a city. Mick finds the culture and life in New York City a lot different than his home and he finds himself falling in love with Sue.

Paul Hogan original tailor-made "fish out of water 'film became a massive success in 1986 and remains a warm, friendly and irresistibly funny. In terms of plot, its simplest simple - journalist Linda Kozlowski was sent to Australia to investigate the legendary "Crocodile" Dundee (Hogan) and ends with the charming rogue back to the Big Apple. It's a winner in every sense of the beautifully quiet Hogan return to his own screenplay, with a wide variety of classic quips and moments. Peter Best excellent musical score also deserves applause for helping to ensure that this Crocodile Dundee Comedy is still great, and it remains exciting entertainment novel in almost two decades.

Comic extravaganza about a reporter and a rich man who visits Outback Australia and Manhattan. Hogan is hilarious as alien to the great city that must adapt to their new world. Oscar nominated for her witty script. One of the best films of the 1980s.
