I am a little elderly American, resident in New Zealand, and this is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Anyone who appreciates fine really should see this film. You do not have to be a kiwi to get it. Photography, acting, composition, everything shines in this movie. As suggested by other viewers, this movie: Out of the Blue is compared favorably to Hollywood and the influence of Hollywood movies (like "Lord of the Rings," Ahem) because it does not depend on special effects, mind-blowing battle scenes, gore or guts or great actresses to keep our attention. Whatever you do or do not compare to this is a fascinating, a masterpiece.
