| A group of young university news release from the mysterious city of Acheron, a strange town that is located in a remote cloud forest-covered area. Discover that not only Acheron is populated by a series of deadly unrestful and spirits come out at night, but rather that the wicked people feed on the sins, evil desires and deeper. Writer / director Tom Lewis concocts a mysterious and inspired actually make ghost town at the premise: it creates a strong and convincing chilling atmosphere of doom-gloom gradually becomes more ominous and nightmarish as the plot develops, the intriguing story refers to a steady pace, spices things with lashings of modest grisly gore, and offers a doozy of a final surprise shocks. The ability to operate a no-name cast attractive rates as another great advantage, especially with the laudable work of Brandon Largent as decent, kind Todd Harding, as the troubled Laura Courtney Mazur, Kathryn Carner as bitch Amber, Young America as unscrupulous Misty the ambitious Tyler Lassiter scruffy vague as Reuben, and Richard Kinsey as a sinister preacher. Royce Allen Dudley strong DivX Movie Evil's City and Carlos Vivas' capricious, chilling score are in sound money. Only some dodgy CGI effects subtract a little of this otherwise pleasant sound and horror bed. |
| well ... so before the comments here, I have seen the DivX film Evil's City .. so kind of knew what to expect. But somehow had to do all this, despite being cheesy cliche ... ... ... predictable but addictive. As cabbagetown said he did not pick up towards the end .. pity that the rest of the Evil's City Action was not as good as that! They have a good idea .. but the writer / director who failed to get a good grounding in the "big screen" and OK 'small screen'! The dialogue and acting very wooden for most of the film: Evil's City .. but in the end that he had helped more than action. I guess they filmed the last section (i hope not otherwise act means that the worse: S) He 5 purely on how it was addictive .. if there would have been about 3 |
| Some reporters from college kid to go in search of a hidden ghost town called Acheron. Naturally, they are a little more than negotiated. After a good start of the Evil's City Action is fairly stagnant. During the first half is kind of hard to find out much about what actually happens, is simply too much about the jumps. There are images that do not really help because it just kind of pop-up nothing. The last half hour or so it takes very well as people are falling into the left and right very violent fashion. You will have to look twice to shoot this really enjoy this movie. That way you will have an idea where the plot goes. Watchable if you like blood and guts. I give a four out of ten of blood. |
