| I remember that I saw this as part of a triple feature with A Night at the Roxbury and Rush Hour en'98. As you might expect from a list of headliners, while Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are very capable in their roles and are backed by support for the players who have increased their profile as Goran Visjnic (The Deep End). I suppose the story was quite superficial: the two sisters and their ancestors have always fought to overcome the curse of his practice of magic: the premature death of their lovers. | I just wanted to say. In my opinion it was a brilliant Practical Magic Romance film Practical Magic. In my one-line summary suggests, I loved it. I do not really see it again and again, however. The original script was definitely for me and the performance was quite well done. It's fun to ease the tension in certain situations and in others rather ironic. Not always predictable, but some things you can see coming. Overall a GREAT night. In respect religious Practical Magic did not show too much ignorance on the subject of witchcraft. Of course, if I was totally bound by realistic witchcraft 'and then the film: Practical Magic would not have been so nice. The Practical Magic movie was to bruges education as my friends now that the defense of bruges, when considered as HAGS devil worship. Great movie, go see it! |
| A couple of months before Practical Magic came out in theaters, I read the novel is based on Alice Hoffman, and loved him. So when I went to see 'Practical Magic' from the movie, I did not know what to expect, since most of the adjustments to the books and films are very different disappointing. But while this was very different from the novel, I was pleasantly surprised. "Practical Magic" is not your average romantic comedy or the average DVD film Practical Magic bruges. Instead, mix together 2 sparkling genres and creates a DivX film Practical Magic that is never boring. While some scenes are a bit exaggerated, performance, relationships and history getting too weird. As for the casting, I do not think it gets much better. Sandra Bullock plays quite as usual, but she plays with a sensitivity well acted and definitely sypathize for her. Nicole Kidman is great - very wild-child, but not trampy so that their hatred - and probably the most interesting (and the best performance) throughout the film. Dianne Weist and Stockard Channing are well cast as the eccentric aunt, and his presence on screen is impressive. Aidan Quinn is also very good, playing Sandra Bullock in "perfect man." So what is my vision of the 'Practical Magic'? Excellent. Of course, it is not flawless, Oscar-worthy masterpiece, but it's fun and one of the most interesting films I've seen in a long time. Therefore If you are looking for a well-acted, well written, unique film, I definitely recommend "Practical Magic." And do not forget to read the book! |

I love this Practical Magic film so much for so many years that I completely forgot the bay from my own DVD / VHS. i at this time there are only big problem in the bay where my own lokaded DVD / VHS. my o my this is a beautiful, full of feeling and watch film. | I saw this DVD movie Practical Magic for the first time years ago when I was very young. I have seen again recently, and I would say that I liked how the subject (witchcraft), was presented and used. Mixing elements of traditional and modern, natural and supernatural, the thriller, but it is romantic, including witches and ordinary people, in connection with the past and present. This variety of features, in my view, the biggest "plus" of the film, along with the satisfaction of the actions of S. Bullock, N. Kidman, S. Channing, D. Wiest.
