| I caught this DVD movie Blue Velvet again last night (on the Sundance Channel), after having seen a couple of times when he was released. I am a Lynch fan because at least you know his films into something provocative, Blue Velvet, and certainly does not disappoint in this field. As I said, I had not seen the Blue Velvet Drama film for a few years, and this time, instead of focusing on the hopper over the extravagance of a scene-stealing performance, I found myself enjoying Kyle McLachlan, the subtle and minor said of the image of Jeffrey, who is really the heart of the film. | It was a DVD movie Blue Velvet masquerading as C to B movie. I think the only reason they passed the movie: Blue Velvet school 'also ran category is S & M of the shock value for 1986. Dennis Hopper was looking for a Blue Velvet Drama movie back, and decided to go the route of Vincent Price. It's creepy and scary, but so what? | Usually, before seeing any DVD movie Blue Velvet to look IMDb to see their ranking and viewers comments. I did the same thing before seeing the Blue Velvet. He said, most of the DVD film Blue Velvet is very violent and very disturbing, but still a masterpiece, and had a reasonably high rating 7.8/10...then I saw the movie. I think it is one of the most disgusting movies I've seen. It is undoubtedly intended to be full of hidden meaning or symbolism and violence and sex seem to be there just to exploit characters. This is supposed to be "new and terribly surreal", "a satire on suburbia," a "vision of the underworld." The viewer is probably supposed to be saturated with disgust to the point that she realizes, oh my God, that's us! Suppose, however, not agree with this idea. How do you then? You see an empty film. Is full of meaning nudity, violence and sex and strange to assume that swallow everything and call it a masterpiece. I am puzzled how this has become a classic movie. Pfft! |
