The Year is 2139. The Planet Earth has changed into a virtually uninhabitable place called the 'Cursed Earth'. All of the Earth's population have crowded into the cities across the planet, now known as 'Mega Cities'. The crimes in these 'Mega cities' became so violent and so powerful, that the regular justice system was powerless to contain, then it collapsed completely. But, a new Justice System came from the ashes, They were 3 justice systems in 1 (Police, Jury and executioner), they were called 'Judges'. In Mega City 1 (formarly, New York), There was a Judge, named Joseph Dredd, who was the toughest and most stringent Judge in history. One day, he was charged with murder. He was tried and sentenced to life in prison because of it. Then, Dredd found out that it was in fact a person who shares his DNA. Former Judge Rico. Now, Dredd has to find out what Rico is planning to do, and to discover about his past.

Judge Dredd I'm really not getting the respect it deserves. Let me explain. While this is not a great Judge Dredd Crime by any means, it's entertaining, not to own kiddie adolescents. Judge Dredd is an R rated comic book. That right may limit its audience, because most viewers might feel comics are for kids, and they are ridiculous. It is true that Dredd is ridiculous, but its too macho and violent for young children. Perhaps that is part of its charm. It is a good action film: Judge Dredd with a good help hard to violence, and interesting characters: including Redneck cannibals and a giant robot. The Judge Dredd Crime movie would have been much better with the comic relief of Rob Schneider. The DivX Movie Judge Dredd could have benefited from some nude Diane Lane.

I am a big fan of the five major action stars of the 1980s y'90 's (Sly, Steven Seagal, Chuck Norris, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger) and it is always interesting to see that co-star in his films . Sly is probably the best actresses to find a good team with him and does not disappoint here. Its collaboration with Sandra Bullock in DEMOLITION MAN works great and Diane Lane (Judge Bitch "for which she battles the evil scientist) has its own almost as well with him. Demand for action films villains really means to overcome their heroes and Armand Assante is a capable actor, but he does not give Sly a memorable final battle sequence, and their scenes together are not sufficient to illustrate how the characters became the way they were. I think some flashbacks of his life in a whole lot better shape this image. All told, this Judge Dredd Crime film does not respond to other Stallone action films, but it is still quite entertaining for its future and images of some decent action sequences, clever throwaway lines by Stallone, Rob Lane and Schneider.Dale Roloff

Sylvester Stallone has done a great job at the stern of the Judge Dredd comic 2000 AD. I used to read many of the principles of Judge Dredd stories in 2000 AD Dredd was an executor of law in a future where there is no jury, no trial, only justice dispensed immediately on the ground. If they are guilty of Dredd Emotionless issue whatever punishment he deems appropriate. Back to the DivX Movie Judge Dredd anyway. It is not always easy to translate a comic book hero to the big screen without changing things, but they did a great job with this movie. If you're going to see a picture of Stallone in this DVD film Judge Dredd and compare it with a picture of Dredd comic who see any difference. Dredd Stallone was a tea. The story is excellent too. Dredd is accused of a crime he did not commit and must prove his innocence. The action scenes in the Judge Dredd Crime film were fantastic. In short, a brilliant film. I would like to have a sequel.
