| I personally never heard of Mr. Bloomfield, which had no real intention of seeing this DivX film Battle for Haditha until I saw it mentioned in the message boards for other films. That said, I must say, this was the best in the recent Iraq war bunch of movies (like Redacted, Home of the Brave, etc) and half that expected as Redacted and was pleasantly surprised to find much better. I think it really highlighted the fact that there are multiple sides to a story, and did so without much bias. a Muslim who I must admit it seemed a little slanted towards the Iraqis, with the Marines as undisciplined and emotions (although one of the players feel guilty and, in fact, this incident caused an uproar). there is a list of actors, in a sense, in fact the best film, as almost see the actors as the characters themselves (especially since much of the dialogue is improvised). I think it was well done and well thought out. better than expected. I wonder what the U.S. reaction that if / when you have an office there? Unlike Moore's work (as stated by another user here) none of the parties as shown completely innocent or completely evil. Not sure if this is exactly how the incident occurred, but if it is, then, is certainly some food for thought in this film. |

It is a great piece of Battle for Haditha Drama making, which conveys the deep insecurity of the Iraqis and the lack of support from U.S. authorities his troops on the ground. For me the lack of closure at the end are illustrated by the fear that there will never be a resolution. |
