| This is undoubtedly the worst Alexander film ever made. Horeribly miscast Colin Farrell proves that it can not act at all, and the massacres (and terrible) with a script by his exaggerated Irish accent. Hair peroxide seems ridiculous - why not just stick a wig on it? The battle sequences are among the worst ever in a DivX film Alexander scene, but what really makes it all the horrible acting badly. Obese and an unrecognizable Kilmer is hammy as Philip of Macedonia, and Sir Anthony Hopkins overplays the role of narrator. What the hell was Oliver Stone thought, casting Angelina Jolie as Alexander's mother when she was just a year older than him? How you create the worst accent heard in a DivX Movie Alexander since Sean Connery unfortunate attempt at an Irish accent "The Untouchables." In general I think it deserves more criticism for the stone Unwatch this mess. Christopher Plummer only emerges intact - and it was only in one scene! Just terrible. Someone should buy the DivX Movie Alexander and burn the negative. Fast. |
| I felt like the guy who played was epic Alexander did Colin Farrell. You have to know characters in movies. In this case, the DVD movie Alexander felt like a documentary overpriced. Was not sufficient to meet epics LOTR fans and was not action packed. The love affair was somewhat limited to a few smiles among the characters. Jared Leto Farrell hugged more times than he speaks in the film. It is not that someone did a bad job of acting, the story was bland. I do not understand how a history of the conquest of thousands of kilometers can be bland. I like pretty crappy movies can tolerate and if things are just a lil funny but i was watching the clock on my DVD player is waiting for more. Not even Alexander had to make nice, which only came out as having no personality at all, and whenever people want a reason why they were not going home that never gave any response. The dialogue was so bad and was the voice acting. There were some cool shots, but only for the most part mutineers. |
| I loved this Alexander film a lot. The two major battles were well done, especially Gaugamela. It is always interesting to see that portrayed on the battles you've just read. I just wish they had done more with the relationship Hephaestion Alexander-instead of concentrating on Roxane. The m / m sex scene was boring. I am sure they chose to demonstrate because it is difficult to accept that a genius like Alexander might be interested in men. I also believe that too much time spent in Olympia and Philip even though some of that is important in the creation of Alexander bottom. | Basically, this was 3 hours to see the Gay "Mama's Boy" conqueror. This DVD movie Alexander does not focus on all of the complexity of the character, his "greatness" as a military leader, his conquests, or even the real story. The goal was directed towards her relationship with her mother (I fully decorated) and his gay lover. You must be a more in depth about their campaigns, why are not satisfied until they ruled the world. The battle scenes are interesting, but I really did not explain how the victories were won. Believe are missing crucial battles in the history as well. Even his battles with his nemesis Darío were a little high. In general, this Alexander movie just sucked. I was very disappointed. |
