| At first, I thought this was a very good film. I was entertained for most of it with good action scenes and on the edge of my seat for a couple of seats, because the suspense. However, once the No Country for Old Men Thriller movie has given me a big "WHAT?" Was just finished the DVD movie No Country for Old Men so seriously? I do not understand how a writer can go through an entire No Country for Old Men Thriller about a plot of a man chasing another guy ... and then just end with the police who did nothing throughout the DivX Movie No Country for Old Men talking about his dream. He is now trying to think of the symbolism behind the last scene and the only thing I could think was that the dream meant that Tommy Lee Jones knew that the murderer was coming for another. He retired because he knew that there was no use looking for the murderer, because he was coming after him. But in a DivX film No Country for Old Men like this, I do not think it is an effective ending. This was not a bad No Country for Old Men movie plot with several issues. It had lots of action and a clear chain of events, plot, and were ruined by the end. So, just wait until it comes to video, because it is a good film, but is disappointed at the end. |
| I say it may contain spoilers, but I doubt it. I saw this DVD film No Country for Old Men because of the ratings and comments. I was disappointed to say the least. Great shooting and all that, but the story is incoherent and diffuse - a story about anything really. No depth, no suspense, no excitement, no history - nothing except the good shooting. I know a good DivX Movie No Country for Old Men when I see one, and this is not the same. I January 1 in an attempt to balance the extremely high ratings this is getting. It is nr. 31 (when this writing) in the 250 list is outrageous. I would give it 5 stars if things were normal. |
| I am a big Coen brothers fan. I really like his films, and I love Miller Crossing and Fargo. But this movie? Just sucked. There is no point to it. The ending is stupid. If the murderer is scary as hell. If the dialog is funny and dry, and the hero is brave and resources. If your wife is credible in an incredible role. (She played Maggie Smith in Gosford Park cleanup - the small theater that became the DVD movie No Country for Old Men in his charming performance. And, sir, what a face.) There should be a point of a movie? Of course not. Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry, and The Vanishing Point are two of my faves. Should there be a story? Of course not - The Sword of Doom is another one of my faves. But do not pretend to have a point, then there are none. And I think we've found the limit of Tommy Lee Jones' abilities. It was terrible for a talkative Texas Sheriff. It is not brave, not worldly, not pleasant, even. Coen brothers, so make a movie, and enters the top 100 on IMDb. Big surprise. When I first saw the theater in Fargo, a viewer laughed for almost the entire movie, and laughed especially hard during the most brutal scenes. As if I have, and apparently not. Well, that's the charm of the Coen brothers for many apparent - either do it or not - and this, I have not had. Especially the end. Give me a break. |
| For me, this was the biggest disappointment of the year. I just set my hopes too high. I hoped that some kind of humor Fargo mixed with gratuitous violence. I suppose that is not fair to compare this to Fargo, because the No Country for Old Men Thriller film did raise the bar. This is a lap down again. The plot was decent enough and certainly not had enough blood and death for everyone. Film is not funny, gut wrenching and no way to slow. Word of mouth can kill, pardon the pun, as box office sales of about 90% of the audience that was only part of negative comments. And the end speaks for itself (which means it does not say anything). Sorry Coen Bros. |
| Sorry but this comment is a spoiler, because it really is not much to say. Anyone who rated this No Country for Old Men Thriller more than 4 please send me an email and that men know what I lost in 2 hours they spent. If Javier plays a role of a brilliant psychopath murderer, but other then that what is happening. I really wish that the genius of this No Country for Old Men Thriller movie that has won many awards and has a rating of 8.5. Psycho boy, Javier, walking around killing people with what can only take on an old tank dive. Brolin, is facing a drug gone bad take the money and is hunted by men who want it back. Tommy and then on the other hand, pursue both of them, to try to tell a story lacking. Oh I almost forgot, the end, WOW, where was it? Veamos 2hrs five phrases. How well I forgot he had to be extended in two hours everything incredibly annoying and very boring and tedious dialogue scenes, like watching grass grow. Waste of two hours unless you bring your grandmother for a weaving. |
| I would have given this DVD film No Country for Old Men more than a 7 or 8, however, the end is in the hands of the worst I've seen, so I had to give it a lower score on the basis of this alone, because it really ruined the whole film, which makes it completely useless. At the end of the film, everyone was watching at the theater with their peers seem confused in their faces, including myself. I did not see anyone, nor can I imagine anyone leaving the theater after seeing this movie: No Country for Old Men by saying "Wow, that was a great movie." 10/10 with all the comments that this No Country for Old Men Thriller is getting is beyond my comprehension. There is not much dialogue in this film: No Country for Old Men at all. The small dialog box is not there, slack-jawed speech. You can put the No Country for Old Men Thriller movie across the world and has no relevance to their understanding of the film, which is a good thing because actions speak louder than words. But I doubt that anyone will get a best actor nomination for his part in this movie. Besides, 80-90% of the DivX film No Country for Old Men was somewhat entertaining. Nothing unusual. But the DivX film No Country for Old Men does not ask you what will happen next. Woody Harrelson character could have been left out completely despite. He was there to confirm the seriousness of the situation, nothing more. However, it is not a terrible movie. But I really want to have tested different endings. If they did, I know what it was like the second option. |
