Gladiator is an excellent film. In all aspects of this movie: Gladiator is very good! This Gladiator Adventure is visually impressive, but the story and dialogues are good and interesting. Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix and the rest of the cast do a good job! Director Ridley Scott did an excellent film! Also the music is beautiful, the soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard is amazing. Photography is also excellent. This is an epic Gladiator Adventure movie that is excellent from start to finish! Everyone should see this masterpiece! I heard there are some historical errors in it, but I certainly do not notice them, and although there would be inaccuracies, they do not harm the movie! A beautiful movie!

Historicly inaccurate so i give it a 9 instead of 10 other big fantasy action Gladiator movie shot one of the few films I have a lump in my throat because I am probably his family as a man of good and cannot get my head around someone lost his wife and children not to speak of them killed But I love history and everything that attempts to bring history to life and to be credible and great cinematography. see the great old school Ollie Reed and actors Derek Jacobi and Richard Harris along with Russell and co-star of the show as Commodus Joaquin, and the recreation of the Coliseum Flavio Amphtheatre or as we like to call it was second to none, must see DVD movie Gladiator and in my top twenty.

This is one of the greatest films of all time I have ever seen. The special effects are excellent and the role of Max (Russell Crowe) is played perfectly. This is a DivX film Gladiator that I could see again and again.

First, the Romans never referred to the coliseum as the "Colosseum". Anfiteatro Flavio was called. Commodus was a real emperor who ruled from 180 to 192 AD. Indeed it did in the Coliseum fighting gladiators, and was very good at it because it has never lost (perhaps deluded in the film). His sister, Lucilla, who conspired with his wife Crispina he died. They were caught and banished to an island and later killed. Marcia tried to drug her lover to death, but not, so some athletes choke to death. He died on New Year's Eve 192 AD. He was a nut case, and was quite murderer, but that's the only thing real in the movie. Other problems that the historical, the story was very good. Maximum I liked and really hated Commodus. It is their fundamental struggle between good and evil.
