| If you want to see a DivX Movie Born to Defend with an intense, energetic fight scenes, and "Born to Defense" is what you're looking for. It is interesting to see a young Jet Li acting well and features a style of kick-boxing in their fighting, and the main villain is a worthy opponent for him. However, there are two major problems with this film: 1) It is bad light, 2) poorly charted. Problem # 1 May, of course, just because of my version, a DVD in Chinese with (usually awful) English subtitles. The lighting is so bad that sometimes it is hard to see what happens - and that includes the climatic moments of the film! Problem # 2, however, appear in any version. The entire plot of the DivX film Born to Defend is: Jet Li and his friends were harassed by stereotypical scummy Americans, Jet decides to harass again. It is, literally, no more complicated than that. But if you can concentrate on fighting, then I suppose the DVD movie Born to Defend is worth a watch especially for fans of Jet Li. (**) |
