After an airplane trip, a young woman asks Susie's husband, Sam, to keep a doll for her to avoid spoiling the surprise of her daughter's gift. But the real reason is to avoid her partner, Harry Roat, whom she hopes to cheat of the drugs hidden in the doll. Harry discovers her treachery, murders her and leaves the body in Susie's apartment, where he has tracked Sam and the doll. He concocts an elaborate plan, involving Mike and Carlino, small-time hoods, to get Susie, who recently lost her sight in a fire, to reveal the doll's hiding place. They lure Sam away and take advantage of Susie's blindness, posing as an old friend, a police detective, and a father-son pair of eccentrics. Susie eventually catches on and, with the help of her young neighbor, Gloria, shows everyone that she is indeed 'a world-class blind lady.'

Alan Arkin has said that his role as Roats in this Wait Until Dark Drama movie was difficult for him because he, like everyone else, do not enjoy having to terrorize a charming character played by Audrey Hepburn. In fact, this was one of the reasons why the nature of Roatan was so difficult to cast, but gives gladly Arkin finally took the role. That contributes a lot to this film. The movie: Wait Until Dark is based on a scene of the same name, therefore, much of the action occurs in a set. Such movies usually find quite boring, and the first time I saw this does not seem all that interesting. But to enjoy Roats character, I went again and see again and this time I loved it. The Wait Until Dark movie contains some plot holes that some reviewers have pointed out, accurately, the service end of the Wait Until Dark Drama rather than detract from it. Anyone who enjoys a good Wait Until Dark Drama or thriller with twists and surprises will love this!

"Wait until dark" was recommended by a friend of mine, because he complained that "Psycho" was good, exciting but not enough. "Wait until dark" is a thriller that works primarily for its history and shows. Audrey Hepburn plays a blind woman named Susie, whose husband is out. She does not know, but who has a doll filled with heroin, and three men are working together to achieve it. Like some Hithcock thriller like "rope" and "Rear Window", "Wait until dark" takes place in an apartment. Another similarity is that the strange events that happen in turn to be very impressive! The DVD movie Wait Until Dark is interesting because Susy single digits of the trio plan to take the doll. She works with her friend, Gloria, to unravel the plan. Twists and turns come and go throughout the film. The most frightening or most shocking case of a phone. I will not tell you what it is, but it made me gasp. I'j is not a big fan of thriller plays (and I have acted in it), but well done, with excellent casting - especially Ms. Hepburn and Mr. Arkin delta, good support from Mr. and Mr. Crenna Weston, beautifully lit by a large body of music and threatening, was Hepburn's last DVD movie Wait Until Dark for nine years and should have won the Best Actress (nominated), and Bonnie & Clyde pick to win all other categories (acting-wise) , starts in motion and then withdrew .. And ROBIN MARION until nine years later. Anyway, most stage-thriller do not play in the movies, but this is very claustrophobic and credible because of Hepburn (who studied with the blind for a while). Turn off the lights .. as they did in the last 8 minutes in the theater when it opened en'67!

Although dark, 1967 "Wait until dark" is a fantastic DVD movie Wait Until Dark in many respects. It may not have epic persecution, sentimental love scenes, or even participation in a plot of robotics, but that captures the mind for hours. To his credit, the performances of Audrey Hepburn as insecurity "champion blind woman," Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as the promotion of her husband, Julie Herrod its usefulness (but rebellious) young friend, and a range of (well, three), others as a variety of thieves, police, and impostors. The plot is well thought out, with twists and turns to keep you occupied even before Hepburn sets foot on stage. It almost takes out one or two rooms in an apartment, using a limited number of "rear window"-esque edge. No suspense, thrill, crime, passion, and deepen the world of the blind and its symbolic potential. Convincing performances, death and devilry, and almost a mother and daughter are inside this dark classic, "Wait until dark."
