| I never really understood why so many movies are romantic comedies when they are well known painfully corny romantic or just weak in the department and certainly not fun. Now, There's Something About Mary is one of the few films that are truly romantic comedies. It has a very sweet love story is, which of course is only superficially developed (given the context that is the way it was supposed to work anyway) and it is hysterically funny at times. The characters, all played beautifully, are very easy to empathize with. And most importantly, the There's Something About Mary Comedy movie does not try to be what is not. He never takes itself too seriously and seems the fluidity of it all the way to the end. It's fun, it's sweet, and is certainly a great moment. |

| In the tradition of "Dumb and Dumber" is equally hilarious and demented "There's Something About Mary." Ben Stiller stars as a loser who wonders what could have been after he was unable to go to the prom with his true love Mary (Cameron Diaz). The reason we can not go is an important part of the There's Something About Mary film itself. Fast forward a few years and continues to think Stiller Diaz. Of course it enlists the help of private investigator to find viscose Matt Dillon, but there is a problem: Dillon falls for Wayne. This creates a problem for Lee Evans, who plays a scholar in front of Diaz, but it's really just a pizza delivery man. The following situations are crazy and yes, do not forget the friend of Stiller Chris Elliott, who has a secret of her own. | I decided to see this There's Something About Mary Comedy film because Cameron Diaz was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. While Cameron is a good young actress, I regret having lost my time watching this movie. The "something" about Mary should be, which attracts all the outlaws, who are still competing to see who is the idiot that has attracted. Cameron is a young doctor who does nothing related to medicine in the film. I just do not get what is funny about this film! Ben Stiller, which is usually a good actor, plays the loser. In the beginning they put this horrible wig pretending to be young and not convincing at all. Since I did not see that I am not stupid and Dumber in reference conditions. But my recommendation is to stay away from this movie. It's horrible! There is no script or point in the race outside the laws that attracts beautiful young doctor. The writers seem to have simply tried to collect all the dumb gags associated with attraction to women and threw them all in this script Hodge Podger. What is surprising to me is that they found someone to pay for this There's Something About Mary movie was made. |
| This would have been a great There's Something About Mary movie if it had tried to be more grown up, and have cut all the sophomoric "raw" scenes. The Farrelly always surprised that they can make stupid comedy, and in general, films are also given a heart, something not found in most comedies in the last 30 years. But it is a schizophrenic simpatico. It seems like they are very talented comedy writers who have shown that the last ridiculous they look at situations that do not laugh even when I was 8. In scenes like the infamous "hair gel" something to drop the flow of the script to mount what appears to be a contrived "set piece" scientifically developed for the praise of adolescents. While this can work, I think that if you apply all their energy to improve the good that already have in place, their films will be taken more seriously and that would have far more lasting (and lucrative) revocation, not to mention the expansion of its market. I just do not get how a lot of people think now days. Could someone please tell me why the thought of the Farrelly Chris Elliot (a funny comedian nobody has yet discovered how to use) whiteheads, blisters, hives and itching would like funny? What are you idiots? And yet, most of the DVD movie There's Something About Mary is very good. I edited a version of this in front of the TV and removed about 5 minutes of stupidity and not hurt the DVD movie There's Something About Mary at all. In fact, I think is best. Has this DVD film There's Something About Mary a 7 out of 10. It could have been a 9 or 10 if it was just difficult. |
