| Fantastic Four went with low expectations. People here have complained about the matter and the draw is not what was expected at the box office, but I went to an evening anyway, just to see what everyone was grousing. The DVD movie Fantastic Four was better than expected. Although I like Jessica Alba as Sue Storm, the rest of the cast was well prepared and performed as expected. Julian McMahon as Dr. Doom is a good call - which appears to be a murderous sociopath in delight. The Fantastic Four movie opens with Reed Richards, Victor Von Doom asking for money and time on their space station to study a cosmic storm that in his opinion may have created life on Earth. Alba post in a hey-look-at-my-tits Von Doom performance as the pseudo-love interest and science adviser. Obviously, getting up into space and get surprised by the microwave radiation that transforms all. They wake up after a few days of Von Doom medical building, showing no ill effects. Within a few days of his powers begin to manifest. Last Change to Grimm, who spazzes and attempts to return home to his wife, who of course denies it. Cast, inadvertently creating a huge traffic chaos that exposes them to all media. Following is the typical comic book Fantastic Four movie history. The plot is not hard to follow, but okay. If you came to this Fantastic Four movie expecting an Oscar-winning masterpiece, then you'll be disappointed. If you are looking for a fun way to kill a couple hours, then this DVD film Fantastic Four will keep you entertained. |
| My expectations were high but cautious. I asked that this would be closer to X-Men or Spider-Man quality, as opposed to Hulk or Daredevil quality. And the man who is stuck! I was completely absorbed by this more than any Fantastic Four movie I've seen in years. That may have much to do with the fact that Fantastic Four was my first Marvel, and even my first superhero comic on the way back around 1973. Therefore, they have a strong attachment to these characters. But it also meant that it would be easy for me to disappoint, this movie: Fantastic Four was not done. As with Spider-Man, who made a completely mind blowing to capture the spirit and style of comics. This is really the Fantastic Four! |
| Fantastic Four was a joke. FF was a complete disaster from the first frame to last frame. The sub par acting, the script is absolutely ridiculous and the direction is lower. Only one thing was remotely decent in this film: the special effects. I do not think that a superhero Fantastic Four film can be worse than "The Hulk", but I was wrong. FF made "The Hulk" as a great piece of cinema. It is too bad that Batman and Spiderman have revived the Fantastic Four Action film industry of comics. Since Hollywood is awash with terrible writers, we have only to look forward to the unfortunate interpretation of the comic heroes. Spiderman and Batman Begins will be the treatment of rare that we can expect in this mess in the trash (Hulk, Daredevil, Electra and Fantastic Four). |
| Well, so do not Fantastic Four Shakespeare, hell, even the best Marvel DivX film Fantastic Four yet. However, I will say that I was pleasantly surprised with the results of this silly, but ultimately, fun movie. Fantastic Four, as everyone knows is about five scientists who travel into space to study a comet space, when the comet hits the shields of those in the station. Each of the scientists returned to Earth with a new power. Reed Richards becomes Mr. Fantastic, and make your body can stretch like rubber, Susan Storm becomes the Invisible Woman, who can turn invisible and create shields, Ben Grimm becomes The Thing, a superhuman of enormous size with incredible strength, and Johnny Storm becomes the human shield that "flame" at any time fly! Also on board is evil Victor Von Doom, who eventually becomes one of the greatest villains of the Marvel history, Doctor Doom, which can generate huge amounts of energy and whose body is the hardest metal on Earth. He is definitely my favorite character in the movie! Of course, with this tale of a home, it takes time for things to move, but once the chips are firmly in place, the Fantastic Four Action adventure to new heights. Of course, not the best DivX film Fantastic Four of the summer, but I did enjoy it thoroughly. If you go with reasonable expectations, you can enjoy this nice movie. Ignore the critics, Fantastic Four is great! A 7 on a scale of 1-10! |
| My friend and I walked out of the preview in the theater stunned silence. We expected a popcorn DivX film Fantastic Four equivalent of The Incredibles, but I was not expecting to walk and see a classic. I do not think it is too exaggerated to call the Fantastic Four a masterpiece. From what I can see, this will be known in future as a part of what is destined to become one of the new classic trilogy. I can not wait for this one on DVD. In a typical successful, all goes kablooey and ka-bam in a timely manner. Super fights, vehicles explode, and the world safe for another day - and a sequel to Fantastic Four. Alba and company were absolutely .... FANTASTIC! |
| I've never really been interested in this type of comic books, so when I saw the Fantastic Four Action I was pleasantly surprised by the plot. Its always nice to see how different people can work together in a difficult situation. I came first to see Ioan Gruffudd, star of the Horatio Hornblower series, which plays the brilliant leader Dr. Reed Richards. However, after seeing the movie, I came to appreciate all the players for their excellent performance. The biggest challenge was the "Human Torch" which bothers me no end, at first, but in the end, I could see that each of the Fantastic Four, including him, had something wonderful to offer. Undoubtedly see this Fantastic Four movie again. If nothing else, it became clear that even the "nerd" may have a happy ending without it being too SAPPY. |
