In London, after investigating crack addicted junkies for an article in her newspaper, the journalist Amy Klein (Kari Wuhrer) watches a bizarre videotape. Her editor Charles Richmond (Simon Kunz) received the footage of an underground group of youngsters in Bucharest apparently becoming zombies through the power of their leader Winter (Paul Rhys) from a member, Marla (Georgina Rylance), and invites Amy to prepare the story. Amy accepts the challenge, and once in Romania, she finds Marla dead with a puzzle cube in her hands. She brings the object to her hotel room, and opens it, beginning her journey to hell.

Hellraiser: Dead is pretty good, especially in the first half, which has two of the most intense and frightening scenes I've seen in a Hellraiser: Deader Horror film when in DTV. I refer, of course, the first videotape, and when Amy explores the abandoned house. Where is DEAD when attempting to link the Hellraiser mythology. As has been well publicized, Dead began as an original screenplay by Neal Marshall Stevens Dimension Films bought it for no less than $ 1 million. Then they lost faith in it and let collect dust before hiring Tim Day for a rewrite and convert it into a Hellraiser sequel. I do not blame the type, because probably not the best he could, given that task ridiculous. But DEAD is a pity that we do not end like this. Without the 30 seconds worth of Pinhead in the end could have been a minor genre masterpiece. In its current form is simply a strange, schizophrenic Hellraiser: Deader Horror movie with some moments, some scenes that really work and some that really do not. Once again, the shame of Dimension Films to waste this opportunity. In addition to Stevens's original screenwriter, director Rick Bota also deserves some praise. Has made a good film, and often tense is never less than competent. I hope that we will be able to break free from his current job in the time dimension. The kid has talent.

This was a little better than the previous installation, but not by much. Hellraiser mystique is back, but it really makes no sense for him. The thing jumps around like crazy all feel in an attempt to confuse us. The starting point of the Deaders as a kind of PUNK / GOTH group is silly. I liked the idea, but it was horribly executed. And the act. My god performance. I've seen paper bags do better. In the end it became almost Unwatch. Especially with all the goofs and the lack of editing. In short, if you do a Hellraiser movie, at least make a clean and consistent.
