Maximum risk is quite surprising for a person who has seen more than one of his films. Director Ringo Lam made half of action film, which can be compared to most other mid-quality action films, which is a predicate of a "Muscles from Brussels' movie. It has a very elegant style, an interesting and, last but not least, the beautyful Natasha Henstridge. Vandamme you're not even mourn for her, what does a good job. Of course, you can not compare a maximum likelihood (oh, how creative title!) A "Ronin", but after seeing "downgrade" that s the hell of a good Maximum Risk Thriller film ... especially the rules, of course.
