| First, as I make clear that I think that Paul WAS Anderson is an idiot! Has spoiled some of the best ideas movie: Resident Evil and Alien vs Predator. Also, soldiers did not place or as Mortal combat some of the best films in history. I have not seen any of his other films and I will not either. For all of this is very difficult for me to understand that this clown has also directed this great fear and horror film! Anyway I like good run late 80's, 90's, 00's, as horror films: The Devil's Backbone, Downhill, Switchblade Romance (albeit rather frightening) ... I think these horror films as well, but not that scary. And here is where I think Event Horizon is different. This is also a good Event Horizon movie directed or acting ... but it is also very mysterious. | Event horizon has all the elements of the classic horror film. Although many say that this Event Horizon Thriller film was films like blatant plagiarism 2001.2010, Alien, etc, I simply took elements of the film, and put a horror spin on them. | This Event Horizon Thriller movie is impressive. The first time I saw him on the big screen in a Cineplex that really took me away from this place in the darkest, most menacing of the fields: the Event Horizon. " As I consider myself as a fan of Laurence Fisburne, this movie: Event Horizon was an obligation, but also offers much more than "just" Laurence back on the screen. What is truly remarkable about this DivX film Event Horizon is that it plays in the future somewhere in space in the outer limits of our solar system, yet is more frightening than any horror Event Horizon Thriller of the 90-set in our time and the earth. | I will try not to talk much about this DivX film Event Horizon for people who have not seen. What I will say is that I have seen this Event Horizon Thriller movie when released in 1997, and was definitely the most frightening films I've seen. Throughout the years every time you run into a discussion of horror movies with people always brought me the event horizon and fall into two categories, or they agreed with me as the most frightening Event Horizon movie of all times, or you hated ... not in the middle. The premise of the Event Horizon Thriller is simple. In the distant future a spaceship disappears as it arrives to our solar system mysteriously returned some years later without his crew. A team of marines is sent to Neptune to find out what happened to the ship and crew. The special effects are quite good, the atmosphere / mood is dark and mysterious, and the cast ... wow, I think they did an amazing job, with Laurence Fishburne how you can lose. If your a fan of science fiction and / or fan of a horror movie, this Event Horizon movie is definitely for you. If not, then you either love or hate. |
| (I've seen the German and the English version of Event Horizon.) This DivX Movie Event Horizon is amazing and it gave my emotions like no other DivX film Event Horizon before. Style is more like "Haunted House to the Stars" - but the concept is fully consistent with (the film: Event Horizon has some errors, however, but I remember some cult films [Blade Runner, like Icarus, etc] with errors - and to leave behind these faux). The story and characters are well built, in the adaptation of environment and development of the mood of fear in this film. The spacecraft as unlikely "Lewis and Clark" and "Event Horizon" the provision of different sets, a comfortable and welcoming, the other dark and hard. In fact, the abandonment "Event Horizon" design shows elements of the church and do not deny inquistive destination ... If you like scary movies with a touch of science fiction to see this DVD film Event Horizon around midnight alone in a deserted room, a better home. Enjoy your emotions. |
| Not the best Event Horizon movie ever made, but I recalled old 80's horror. A touch of blood mixed with a soundtrack full of bass and a bunch of scenes that will make you jump. I've seen this on my own while the wife was at work and I was scared a little. Its status is not too much but I found quite hold. "Science fiction" part of the story is good, but overall the plot is a bit weak (and reminiscent of Lost in Space). Laurence Fishburne was great as always, Sam Neill maybe not enough for the role, however, was excellent, but towards the end. Definitely worth seeing if you like semi-horror / sci-fi surround sound and sound effects make the film. In general, I give a thumbs up Barry Norman, a 7 out of 10 and if I can add to my DVD collection as soon as the stores open. |
| I went to see Grosse Point Blank in the cinema a few years ago and found to my dismay that the sample was already booked out. There was only one other Event Horizon Thriller film from the next half hour, which is called event horizon. I had no idea what it is (just opened this weekend), but rather than waste a trip to the movies I decided to give it a try. Jesus, I almost wept tears of blood watching this Event Horizon movie was that scary. There are scenes that really had to look outside because it was freaking me out so much. But I loved it and came out thinking it was one of the best horror films that he had ever seen. I raved about it to my friends that went to video and a group of us rent a settled view. Unfortunately, none of my friends are scared away and I have to admit, as someone has already said, it does lose a lot in the transition to video. This did not stop my friends fainted slagging me about being a pussy. Therefore, on reflection, it's a good DivX film Event Horizon and a great fear to see the horror, but I did not think that the masterpiece in the first viewing. I gave it 7 out of 10. |
