Denzel Washington plays Lincoln Rhyme, a brilliant homicide detective that paralyzed after a job gone wrong. When a couple is kidnapped and influential husband is killed in turn by his former colleagues to help Lincoln to make sense of evidence. They are joined by Angelina Jolie, a street-police who managed to stop a train in order to preserve evidence in the tracks. Soon that are trailing a murderer who leaves horrible pieces of evidence at the crime scene the police dare to arrest him. This is a dark thriller is still not very original! There are a couple scenes of horrific murders. I was scared for (WARNING SPOILERS) If the student at the University of New York which is tied in a former slaughterhouse, the leg was torn open by the murderer and the blood attracts rats. Many of the rats .... the scene where a rat attacks bold the first time I jump in my seat. If you're in the middle of a decent thriller with Denzel Washington always surprising. This is for you!

"The Bone Collector" is an intense thriller with excellent acting. Angelina Jolie is very good as Denzel Washington and Amelia is wonderful as always. It is a good change of police have been paralyzed from the neck down. The character of Eddie Ortiz was fun, and Queen Latifah was also brilliant, although his role was not very large. However, the end was very cliché. Note that the true identity of the murderer was very difficult to predict. But their motives were to kill Linkin pretty lame. Another serial murderer in a path of revenge? Geez, where have I seen that before? Besides, it really does not make sense that if the doctor of Linkin was the murderer, then that means we were in the room with Linkin countless times since the accident. Not to mention that there is a line that says clearly: "Jesus, he was trying to send messages even in that case." It would have had many opportunities Linkin when I was alone in her apartment with only Thelma, who killed the documentation anyway. Amelia comes behind him and shot him in the back JUST in time was also incredibly predictable. One last thing. This Bone Collector, The Mystery movie was much better, ending cliché and all, if there had been no romance between Amelia and Linkin! Anyway, still worth seeing. 6 / 10
