| I liked this movie: First Sunday for several reasons. I think Katt Williams is hilarious all by himself and was a great person to cast as a choir director. I thought the plot was not as generic as most land-based theft that hit Hollywood. I thought the transitions that happened as the First Sunday film was developed fun. Overall I thought the First Sunday Crime was very good. If you are trying to decide whether to go see this movie, consider that it is making its decision. First, the First Sunday Crime is stereotypical. The main characters live in the church and attend a race to the bottom in the community exposed to crime, drugs, stereotypes and other things you expect in a community overrun with stereotypical stereotypical stereotypical people who are Black or Hispanic. Secondly, the film: First Sunday is fun. Things that are fun for people who understand the complexities and realities of Black will realize that these people do not understand that it's difficult to find the comedy. Thirdly, the movie: First Sunday will not be an Oscar candidate. The First Sunday movie was so well shot, scripts, edited, or who will see that even the grand prizes. That said, a series of films come out every day that are entertaining, but they are not winning because we want to see and be entertained. This is another of those movies. Therefore, if you want to be entertained, to understand the positive and negative Black inner workings of society, and do not mind seeing a film: First Sunday that shows both the stereotypes and truths about how Black people live, move, and their being, this DVD film First Sunday is for you. |
| The First Sunday Crime film can touch with their emotional aspect, which consists of the former reason that money can not always buy anything. There are some good laughs in the hood, but not worth remembering. Personally, I think that Ice Cube can do better, and can achieve something bigger "Friday" series.His act is getting better and better, but he should try to change the fabric of his films, or perhaps a change in their character. In total, the production of this DivX Movie First Sunday is not amazing, but this is not their primary mission. It's just a good comedy, which can waste your time without losing its limit. By the way we value anything the fact that there are some really fun characters that are really moving things in this production. Like the job of director, for example, or the priest.Actually this is the main element that makes me the kind of movie: First Sunday in a higher score. It seems that almost everything is half-baked plot is good but could have been better, and actors re fun, but it could be fun. |
| A very appealing cast is left with little to work in the "First Sunday," a comedy whose script produced no rise to the level of its actors. Desperate for some quick cash, Durell and LeeJohn an elaborate plan to break into a local church and lead the fund for the construction of a new building. Unfortunately, this seemingly simple robbery quickly turns into a complicated hostage situation when a dozen or so of the most prominent church members unexpectedly appears on the scene. "First Friday" is to get some laughs plentiful, due in large part to its cast and the occasional fun game online and scattered among the numerous clunkers. Ice Cube actually plays straight man to Tracy Morgan endearingly Bumbling partner, and together with the other actors, to help understand a number of fine stories. The problem lies in a screenplay that often occurs with the obvious joke over something truly original or clever, and pouring syrup on alarming proportions only near the end of the DVD film First Sunday to ensure its status as a morally upright, "feel good" comedy . It is a bit of harmless fun enough if you have some time to kill, but the company is much more appealing to what they are dishing it up. |
| Ice Cube movies are getting worse and worse in recent years with the recent and incredibly awful "are, however, have we done?" being one of the biggest offenders of the whole lot. With that, I will not go into this with high expectations, and I actually got a bit more than you because I negotiated it. The First Sunday film has a solid story that has plenty of heart, but is in very bad need of a rewrite. The gut laughs not tears, but I do not think it was intended - I think this would be an emotional drama about personal introspection, community bonding, and people returning to God, but unfortunately, the screenplay comes close but not close enough. This could have been a much better movie: First Sunday if only a little more time and TLC was put into it by their creators. Instead, it ends up being better than a lot of buckets of other recent deals, but not by very much. Worth a rental period, and that's it. |
| Well, I think here in the rating of 2.7 so far is probably a bit low, but certainly this First Sunday film does not have much in your favor, however. Not original at all, and in terms of being a comedy, did little more than make me smile at a line or two. But it is rather harmless, and not try to have a positive message. Frankly, I think the writer / director is trying to imitate Tyler Perry, and did so quite poorly. There's even a character in a scene that seems to be a male actor impersonating a female, older (though the character mysteriously disappears without explanation). However, I do not recommend it, but if you're looking for something to do with children, enjoy it and not come out traumatized. |
| I was in the theater, sat down with my popcorn, saw 25 minutes and then left the theater. In fact, I would have left 15 minutes earlier. Getting started with this shit of a movie. Firstly, the characters are so lazy that they have no sympathy for them. Whaaaa! I hate my job! Whaaaa! So it does? Whaaaa! The chief ordered me around. Whaaa! Therefore, of course, they turn to crime and surprise! Falling. They receive 5000 hours community service for the judge, instead of jail time. That's where the fun is to start with, but I guess none of that happened. It was a long tedious boredom after another. Ice Cube: It is better to continue with Barber 3,4,5, ... Or better yet, why not go out with a new album instead of scaring us with his acting ability Crummy. Tracy Morgan and Kat Williams: It's back to stand-up gigs again! |
| Let me start with the bad things in this film: -There was an incredible wealth of material. Some of the acting was poor. -Most of the material was not funny at all funny. There are about 2 to 3 blocks Now, the good things: -I "DID" might laugh at 4 lines.Not hysterical laughter, but still a bit of laughter. -We managed to keep me entertained, and I was really sucked into the story a little plot. Overall, this First Sunday movie was "bad guy, but not terrible.I is not advisable, but absolutely would not say to avoid it. It was nothing special, but if you want to see you, as my guest. |
