| I was so excited to see the third installment of The Godfather after seeing the first two. I was terribly disappointed. The first two Godfathers are truly works of art. The acting and direction are excellent. Pacino and DeNiro are great. The writers and directors Keaton wisely kept to a minimum in the first two. The first two were really interesting and the story of the Corleone family as well. However, The Godfather III does not have. The acting is terrible. Even Pacino (I'm a big fan) went out to act as required. Sofia Coppola is absolutely horrible. Keaton was a drag in the whole movie. The plot was weak and did not have my attention. It also seemed a "recycling" of Godfather: Part III, The film material from the first two. The first 15 minutes of the DivX Movie Godfather: Part III, The were the clips from the first two (and undoubtedly the highlight of the III). There was too much singing Italian opera and the repetition of the first soundtrack of The Godfather. This Godfather: Part III, The Thriller film reminded me of the new Star Wars movies that emerged in the 90s and later. Both The Godfather and Star Wars were created in the 1970s were classic and should not have sequels or prequels added to them. Seriously, if you enjoyed the first two Godfathers not see the third ... to spoil the experience for you. |

It could have ended in 1974 with the exceptional Part II. The second DVD film Godfather: Part III, The might have been even more time to give us an encapsulation of what happened to the Corleone family in the following decades. Part III is by no means a bad film, it is indeed a very good, solid piece of cinema, but when compared to the tower first two parts of the trilogy, is shorter. This is a review of the Corleone family and the Italian Mafia with an aging Don Michael struggling to make deals with the Vatican and legitimize its rule. Francis Ford Coppola assembled a cast for the age and type of other excellent new dash to help The Godfather Part III and cement as a very good film. "A good movie. | I liked it. Yes, it's a slightly different tone to the first two sets but then 25 years in the future, so if you have exactly the same feel as the first two would have seemed false. However, there is deception, music, style and dialogue of the first two. Those things make it very special in my opinion. Yes, Sofia Coppola, it seems out of place, even in scenes with Garcia that is so good in this aspect that makes it even more amateurish Coppola. That makes me think how good it could have been better off with an actress playing Mary. The last hour or so of the Godfather: Part III, The Thriller when Michael spoke with soon to be the Pope is just excellent, but agrees with everything that has happened before. As I said, the ending fits the whole theme of the Godfather movies perfectly. These are all questions of power, deception, loss, grief and family and in that sense I was finally contained in the result. |
| As a big fan of the first 2 movies, I was disappointed with Francis Ford Coppola's final chapter. Events surrounding the production of the film: Godfather: Part III, The is bound to be a disappointment from the start image. Director Francis Ford Coppola cast his daughter, Sofia, to play the role of Michael Corleone's daughter and Winona Ryder has backed out due to illness. Ms. Coppola's performance was laughable at best. One might think that Mr. Coppola would have paid at least some acting lessons. My other problem with this DVD film Godfather: Part III, The is Robert Duvall who was missing in his role as Tom Hagen, consigliere family. Mr. Duvall wanted way too much money that they deserve. I could not get used to seeing a sun baked George Hamilton advising the family. It is a pity that all this great performances overshadowed by Al Pacino, Andy García, and Joe Mantegna as Joey Zaza, but he did it. I enjoyed seeing Andy García reprise his role as Don Corleone in Vincenzo fourth installment, but now that the writer / author, Mario Puzo has left us so dear, can be glued to this disappointing third and final picture as our only memory of his legacy. |

This is undoubtedly the most underrated DVD movie Godfather: Part III, The of all time question.Al Pacino not only makes the performance of this unforgettable classic, but for some reason the DVD film Godfather: Part III, The was quickly forgotten and I think overlooked.In Pacino was amazing and did an incredible job portrait of a tormented and tortured soul that carries the weight of its many sins, especially the murder of her brother confesses Fredo.Michael Corleone in this Godfather: Part III, The Thriller movie for all its crimes and the viewer feels for him, despite everything that has done.The supporting cast is also more impressive.Joe Mantegna as Joey Zasa is a memorable villain, which proves to be a danger to the Corleone family and wants to be in charge of business himself.Andy Garcia as Don's nephew and the son of Sonny Corleone gives an impressive performance and shows the public is indeed a wild child of Sonny playing with a passion for James Caan in original.Many people believed that the director Francis Ford Coppola's daughter Sofia was wrongly cast as Michael's daughter in the Godfather: Part III, The Thriller movie but I think she did great and adds to his department character.The Godfather: Part III, The movie is great and powerful all the way, but nothing is in the final scene in which Mary is shot and dies in his father's arms. It is truly magical and is sure to put a tear in your eye, or at least a grip while.The manner Pacino and Diane Keaton on stage act alone makes it phenomenal.In to the conclusion that the advice you ignore this wonderful piece of film-making.Be sure to see it.It is worthy to be the final chapter of the Godfather saga and I am sure will impress. |
